First came to prominence in the Workington academy team of 1995. When as a long striding prop forward he scored tries almost at will, finishing that season as the Town academy top try scorer. Twice notching four tries in a game via bullocking runs.
He has had varied fortunes in his professional career, since showing that early promise, and left Town to play R.U. for Netherhall in a bid to regain confidence.
