Forward
An experienced forward who initially joined Workington from the Lowca amateur club during the Towns' centenary season of 1995/96. He has the ability to break the line via genuine pace, a quality which has on occasions seen him utilised as a Centre. John's career has however been affected by several injury bouts, which was perhaps a factor which saw him move on to Whitehaven for a brief spell.

Happily he has rejoined the Town and looks fully fit and seems determined to win back a regular first team slot.
