» Into Top Gear - Town drive on with TMS !

As part of a move to position itself as Cumbria's favourite team, Town have secured sponsorship by local motor spares firm TMS.

The substantial deal covers the usual team shirts logo appearance plus merchandising opportunities for the entire 2000/1 season.

TMS operate across the north of the county and south west Scotland so will be bringing the message of Workington Town to those communities.

The first fruits of the partnership were revealed at the match against Rochdale Hornets when Kenny Wilson - proprietor of TMS - handed the sponsorship cheque to Geoff Tubman.
