Former Super League centre Fata Sini was unveiled as the club's new signing at the Fans Forum on Wednesday evening.
The 31 year-old has signed a one-year deal to further strengthen the club's already impressive looking back division.
Fata Sini first came to Britain in 1995 when he was part to the Western Samoa World Cup squad. He played for Doncaster last year and has previously played for York and Salford.
Sini can play anywhere in the backs and also in the forwards where he played last year for Doncaster, but Gary Murdock believes his strongest position is at centre.
Doncaster had offered the player a new contract, but he has chosen to join Town where he will join up with friends - Hitro Okesene, Lokeni Savelio, Tane Manihera and Matt Strum.
Gary Murdock said "I am delighted to have signed Fata and the squad is looking very strong.
"He is like a pocket battleship and I have spoken to a lot of players who have had very good things to say about him. He is our last full time signing and we need to get some of the younger players in position now to learn from Fata and the more experienced players."
